How to install vinyl stair treads

3. Use vinyl stair tread special glue to apply the stairs and the back of stair treads at the same time. The glue should be oily glue(glue used for laying carpets), can not be water-based glue because the sticking is not firm, it is easy to cause later fracture.
4. Brush down from the highest step of each floor for gluing staircase. For gluing stair treads, especially the three centimeters of the corners of the stairs should be evenly coated with a small brush. Cool glue for 10 minutes (you can touch the brushing part with your hands, and you can apply without sticking your hands).
5. One worker needs to use a hand to hold the treads, and the other worker uses a cloth-wrapped rubber mallet to beat the elevation hook tightly. Then 2 people together push the treads to the inner corner of the stairs. It must be close to the 90-degree angle of the staircase surface, and there should be no gaps and the corner of treads must be close to the corner of the staircase to avoid hollowing. Cut off the extra stair treads and continue to pave the next step. Pave up from the first step of the stairs.
6. After laying, clean the extra glue on the stairs with using a dry towel dampened with thinner to wipe off.
